This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. For your specific rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, see our DPDP notice.

What we collect

Account information. Email address, full name, profile fields you fill in (role, specialty, experience).
Authentication. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google (only with your consent).
Content you create. Bookmarks, voice notes (privately stored), saved events, contributions.
Usage. Basic pageview and feature-use logs to improve the product. We do not currently use third-party analytics that track you across the web.
Voice-to-Research and Spark recordings. Audio captures you make are stored privately in your account until you delete them. We explicitly forbid recording patient identifiers and warn at capture time.

What we never collect

Patient health information (PHI). See our PHI compliance guidance.
Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, or financial account numbers.
Biometric identifiers.
Browsing on other sites (no cross-site tracking).

How we use what we collect

To provide the features you use (sign-in, bookmarks, events).
To send you transactional emails (signup, reset, reminders).
To improve content and product based on aggregate usage.

Who we share with

Supabase (Mumbai) — our database and authentication provider.
Cloudflare R2 — media storage for audio and images.
Brevo — transactional and newsletter email.
Hosting provider — Hostinger, for serving the website.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for authentication and minimal functional preferences. We do not use third-party cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your profile page. For specific Indian DPDP Act rights including the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India, see our DPDP notice.

Children

NursingAtoms is for adult healthcare professionals and nursing students. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 without parental consent (per DPDP Act §9).
